Coming from a background in early childhood special education, I have been a teacher for 8+ years.  While I very much enjoy what I do, my husband and I found a love for beer and all things brewing.  After becoming avid homebrewers for several years, I found a program through Auburn University for a master’s certificate in brewing science and operations.  The program was one year and consisted of a 120+ hour in brewery experience.  During these hours, I knew the brewery life was where I wanted to be.  Together with my husband, we started the process of building our own brewery.  Sparta, TN was the perfect location for this venture.  Everyone here has been super supportive and showed us love for what we are doing.  Having a daughter ourselves, we knew from the beginning we wanted to be family friendly and have a place where people can come and hangout in the taproom as well as the outdoor space with tables and games.
